Calvin & Hobbes was an extremely popular newspaper comic strip that never got published here in an Australian newspaper (to the best of my knowledge). The comic strip was about the adventures that Calvin & Hobbes had.
Calvin is a normal (if not slightly hyperactive) 6 year old boy and Hobbes is his pet/friend Tiger. Well not really - Hobbes is a stuffed tiger to everyone else, but to Calvin he is as alive and as real as any normal Tiger would be even if it is only Calvin who notices how alive he is. This pair have had too many (mis)adventures to describe here but I'll try to show you some of what I think are the best ones in the collection that I have gathered in the Favourite Strips area.
Unfortunately Bill Watterson is no longer drawing new Calvin & Hobbes strips so that means the adventures of this pair will just have to live on in his collection of books (that I've listed on this website) and in sites like this scattered throughout the 'Net.
